Water

TermDefinition
Water cycle The continual movment of water among Earths atmoshpere,oceans,and land surface through evaperation,condecation,and precipitation.
precipitation Any form of water that falls from the clouds and reaches the Earths surface.
groundwater Water that fills the cracks and spaces in underground soil and rock layers.
evaperation The process by which water molecules in liquid water escape into the air as water vapor.
Condensation The process by which moleculs of water vapor in the air become liquid water.
water vapor water in the form of a gas.
Conservation The practice of using less of a resource so that willed not be used up.
freshwater Water that is not salty.
Saltwater Water that contains a large amount of salt.
