The Atmosphere

TermDefinition
Atmosphere A mixture of gases that surrounds earth.
Troposphere The atmospheric layer near Earth's surface.
Stratosphere The layer of the atmosphere that lies between the troposphere and the mesosphere.
Ozone A molecule made up of three oxygen atoms.
Radiation The transfer of energy across space and in the atmosphere.
