| Natural Environment | The natural environment, encompasses all living and non-living things occurring naturally on Earth or some region thereof. |
| Climate | the weather conditions prevailing in an area in general or over a long period. |
| Atmosphere | the envelope of gases surrounding the earth or another planet. |
| Natural Vegetation | vegetation that occurs spontaneously without regular management, maintenance or species introductions / removals, and that generally has a strong component of native species |
| Culture | the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively. |
| Landform | a natural feature of the earth's surface. |
| Language Pattern | a specific occurrence of language throughout different areas |
| Infrastructure | the basic, underlying framework or features of a system or organization. |
| Elevation | how high an area is from water level |
| Ecosystem | a system formed by the interaction of a community of organisms with their environment. |
| Weather | the state of the atmosphere with respect to wind, temperature, cloudiness, moisture, pressure, etc. |
| Biomes | a complex biotic community characterized by distinctive plant and animal species and maintained under the climatic conditions of the region, especially such a community that has developed to climax. |
| Glaciers | an extended mass of ice formed from snow falling and accumulating over the years and moving very slowly, either descending from high mountains, as in valley glaciers, or moving outward from centers of accumulation, as in continental glaciers. |
| Groundwater | the water beneath the surface of the ground, consisting largely of surface water that has seeped down: the source of water in springs and wells |
| Soil | the portion of the earth's surface consisting of disintegrated rock and humus. |
| Hydrosphere | the water on or surrounding the surface of the globe, including the water of the oceans and the water in the atmosphere. |
| Lithosphere | the solid portion of the earth (distinguished from atmosphere, hydrosphere ). |
| Biosphere | the part of the earth's crust, waters, and atmosphere that supports life. |
