Ecology the study of the interactons between living thing / organisms in their enviroment
communties multiple populations /species in an enviroment
Limitng factors any resource that isnt enough and it limits the size of the population
carrying capacity the largest population that is in an enviroment at any time
competition the struggle between organisms or populations to survive in a habitat with limited resources
predation one animal killing another animal for food
symbiosis interaction between 2 or more organisms where one gets a benifit
mutualism both organisms benefit
commensalism one organism benfits and the other is not harmed or helped
parasatism one organism is harmed and the other benefits
parasite & host parasite benefits and the host is harmed
what are the two types of enviroments? biotic and abiotic
predator adaptations camuflauge, speed, posion, keen eyesight
prey adaptations warning colors, mimicry, foul odor
