Cells

TermDefinition
Cells The cell is the basic unit of life in all living things.
Tissue A group of cells that work together to perform a specific job in the body.
Organs When two or more tissues work together to perform a specific job the group of tissues is called an organ.
Organ System Organs working together in groups to perform particular jobs.
Organism Anything that can live on its own. There are two types of organisms-unicellular and multicellular.
Unicellular Organisms A single cell living on its own.
Multicellular Organisms
