equilibrium state of balance between opposing forces in a system
ozone form of oxygen (O3) in the upper atmosphere that sheilds Earth from harmful radiation from space, but at ground level is a pollutant
ozone layer protective layer, in the upper atmosphere, that has a high ozone content
photochemical smog air pollution that forms when sunlight changes exhausts from motor vehicles, homes, & power plants into brown haze
pollution substance or form of energy whose concentration is large enough to harm living things or the natural environment
