evaporation the change OF A LIQUID INTO A GAS.
transpiratation the evaporation of excess water from a plant.
condensation the change OF A GAS INTO A LIQUID .
precipitation a form of water that falls from the Atmosphere to the earth.
Surface water the water that can be seen on the surface of the earth.
GROUND WATER the water within the earth.
aquifer A MASS OF WATER THAT STORES GROUND WATER .
artesian well the groundwater trapped between layers of rock that flows to the surface throughout an opening .
estuary. the place where a river meets an ocean or a sea.
salinity the amount of salt that is dissolved in water.
BRACKISH A MIXTURE OF FRESH AND SALT WATER.
WATERSHED AN AREA OF LANDFROM WHICH DRAINS INTO A PATICULAR WATER SYSTEM.
