What did our earliest atmosphere contain? Hydrogen and Helium
What is our climate controlled by? Reflective of the surface, the amount and types of gases in the atmosphere, amount of cloud cover, volcanic eruptions, vegetation cover and meteor impacts.
How can volcanic eruption decrease temperatures? Ash blocking sunlight directly or by ash increasing the amount of condensation nuclei in the atmosphere which facilitates the making of clouds which block sunlight
What planet had no atmosphere? Mecury
What is contained in Earth's current atmosphere? 78 percent nitrogen, 21 percent oxygen, and 1 percent trace gasses.
Why can composition of the Atmosphere change? Human activity
What can increase the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere? Algae
What absorbs more heat, Vegetation or Non-vegetation? Vegetation
What is a negative effect of Meteor impacts? It can place an huge amount of dust in the air.
What is a negative effect of Volcanic eruption? It can set off forest fires.
