What is the most widely accepted theory for how the solar system and stars formed? Solar Nebular Theory
How do stars form? Condensation, gravitational compression of this nebula.
What is Solar Nebula? huge, vast clouds of ice, gas and dust.
Less massive stars in order. 1. Nebula, 2. protostar, 3 main sequence star (born), 4. white dwarf, 5. black dwarf (death)
More massive stars in order. 1. Nebula, 2. protostar, 3 main sequence star (born), 4. supernova, 5. neutron star (death).
After supernova what do most massive stars become? Black holes.
