QuestionAnswer
What affects the oceans water quality? Human activities, human waste disposal, and construction within the water shed.

Why are coral reefs important? Coral reefs aid in catching fish and shell fish.
What happens if the plant population decrease in any way? The decrease will affect all animals.
Why will a decrease in food stocks affect people and industries? Many cultures are almost totally dependent on food from the oceans.

Movement of plates will disrupt normal flow of currents that are present in the ocean today; how will this affect the ice caps? Circulation will change causing changes in the ice caps size and location.
What do upwellings do? What happens afterwards? Upwellings bring cold nutrient rich water from the bottom to the surface. Afterwards, areas of high biological activity develop.
How are most waves generated? They are generated by wind.
