The state of the atmosphere at a place and time as regards heat, cloudiness, dry

What is an air mass? An airmass is a large volume of air that has horizontally uniform properties in terms of temperature
How do clouds form? Clouds form when rising air, through expansion, cools to the point where some of the water vapor molecules "clump together" faster than they are torn apart by their thermal energy
What is evaporation? Evaporation is the change of water from a liquid to a gas
What causes fog? condensed water droplets
What causes glaciers? when the snow accumulating on land from one winter does not melt before the next winter's snow arrives
What is global warming? is the rise in the average temperature of Earth's atmosphere and oceans since the late 19th century and its projected continuation
What is the ozone hole? occurs over Antarctica in the very early spring when weather conditions and a lack of sunlight which produces ozone
What causes snow? the result of the warm air
What is a squall line? a system of thunderstorms that have formed into a line
What causes tornadoes? updrafts and downdrafts in the thunderstorm interacting with the wind shear, causing a tilting of the wind shear to form an upright tornado vortex.
