What is the difference between weather and climate? Weather describes the current state of the atmosphere or day to day changes in atmospheric conditions. Climate describes the average weather patterns of certain locations over a period of many years
How are convection currents formed? When warm, less dense air rises, warms the air around it, cools, and sinks to be warm again
What are stratus clouds and what do they mean? Clouds that layer on each other and coverht whole sky. They mean that precipitation and cooler temperatures are approaching
What do psychrometers measure? The amount of water vapor in the air

True or False: Areas near the equator receive more sunlight than areas around the poles True
What side of low pressure stems are warm fronts located on? Right side
True or False: High pressure systems spin clockwise and low pressure systems spin counterclockwise True
