What is gravity? The force that hold or pulls objects to each other.
What is an orbit? The path of an object as it revolves around another object in space.
What does the Earth orbit around in space? The sun.
Define phases of the moon. The progression of chages in the moon's appearance during the monthW
How many main phases of the moon are there? There are 8 main phases of the moon.
What is a planet? A large body of rock or gas in space.
What is a revolution and what does the Earth revolve around? A single complete turn around the sun.
What is a regolith? Weathered rock fragments.
What is the solar eclipse? The moon interrupts light from the sun.
