Parts of Angiosperms
A list of female/male angiosperm parts and their location on the flower.
Term | Definition |

Stigma | (Female) Receives pollen during fertilization. |
Pistil | (Female) The entire tube like center of the flower connecting female parts. |
Style | (Female) The tube connecting the stigma to the ovary. |
Ovary | (Female) Reproductive organ. |
Ovule | (Female) Reproductive cell which will become the seed once fertilized with pollen. |
Anther | (Male) Contains pollen, the male reproductive cell. |
Filament | (Male) Holds the anther. |
Stamen | (Male) Fertilizing organ of a flower, consisting of a pollen-containing anther and a filament. |
Pollen | (Male) Produced by the anther. |
