| Weather | The state of the atmosphere at any time. |
| Climate | The average pattern of weather for a particular region. |
| Temperature | A degree of hotness or coldness that can be measured using a thermometer. |
| Clouds | A cloud is a large collection of very tiny droplets of water or ice crystals. |
| Hurricane | A hurricane is a huge storm! It can be up to 600 miles across and have strong winds spiraling inward and upward at speeds of 75 to 200 mph. |
| Tornado | A tornado is a violent rotating column of air extending from a thunderstorm to the ground. |
| Wind | Wind is air in motion. It is produced by the uneven heating of the earth’s surface by the sun. |
