| alternative resource | Sources that are often ued such as solar energy, wind, and geothermal energy. |
| inexhaustible resource | An energy source that can't be used up by humans. |
| photovoltaic | A device that transforms radiant energy directly into electrical energy. |
| Geothermal Energy | The heat generated inside the Earth. |
| Solar Energy | Radiant energy emitted by the sun. |
| Hydro electricty | Electricity produced by the water power. |
| Fossil Fuel | A natural fuel such as coal or gas, formed, in the geological past from the remains of living organisms. |
| natural resource | the parts of environment that are useful or necessary for the survival of the living organisms. |
| petroleum | is formed mostly from the remains of the microscope marine organism buried in Earth's crust. |
| Hydroelectric power | is electricity thatv is produced when the energy of falling water is used to turn the turbines of an electric generator. |
| Nuclear energy | is released when billions of atomic nuclei from uranium, a radioactive element, are split apart in a nuclear fission reaction. |

| greenhouse effect | The heating trapping feature of the atmosphere |
