Air pressure The pressure that is caused by the weight of a column of air pushing down on an area

Mercury barometer An instrument that measures changes in air pressure, consisting of a glass tube particularly filled with mercury, with an open end resting of a dish of mercury
Aneroid barometer An instrument that measures changes in air pressure without a liquid
Altitude Elevation above sea level

Stratosphere The second lowest layer of earths atmosphere
