air pressure The amount that air presses or pushes on anything
low pressure area A place where warm air rises and pushes down on the earths surface with less pressure
high pressure area A place where cool air sinks and pushes down on the earths surface with more pressure
precipitation Moisture that falls from clouds to the ground
forecast A prediction of what the weather will like be
meterorologist A person who studies weather
landform A shape of the land, such as mountain, plain or plateau
volcano A mountain formed by hardened lava with an opening, through which lava, ashes, rock and others materials may come out
earthquake The shaking of the ground caused by rock movement along a fault
mineral Nonliving, solid matter from the earth
current A riverlike flow of water in the ocean
tide A rise and fall of the surface level of the ocean
wave The up and down movement of ocean water caused by wind
