Freshwater Water that is not salty

Upwelling Carries cold water from deep in the ocean to the surface and brings nurtirent rich water
Stewardship Practices that protect Earth's resources
Point-Source Pollution Pollution that comes from a single site
Non-Point-Source Pollution Pollution that cojmes from many places or an unidentifiable source
Algal Bloom Rapid growth of alage
pH Measure of how acidic or basic a liquid is
Turbidity The measure of how clear water is
Bioindicators Organisms used to monitor the health of an ecosystem
