igneous rock Rock formed by cooled magma or lava.
metamorphic rock Rocks formed from heat and pressure
sedimentary rock Rock formed when sediments bond or cement together.
intrusive rock Igneous rock that are formed inside the earth
extrusive rock Igneous rock that are formed outside the earth
geologist A scientist that studies the earth
bands “stripes” that are on some metamorphic rocks
luster The way a rock reflects light. The rocky can be shiny or dull.
