| Earthquake | A shaking of the land caused by the sudden release of Energy in Earths crust |
| Fossil | The remains of traces of past life sound in sedimentary rock |
| Mantle | The layer of rock beneath Earth's crust |
| Volcano | A mountain formed by lava and ash |
| Pangea | A super continet containing all of Earth's land that existed about 225 million years. |
| Magma | Molten rock for Earth's Mantle |
| Weathering | The process of breaking rock into soil, sand, and other tiny pieces |
| Continental Drift | A theory of how Earth's continents move over its surface |
| Plate | A rigid block of crust and upper mantle rock |
| Fault | A break or place where pieces of Earth's crust move |
| Mass Movement | The downhill movement of rock and soil because of gravity |
