TermDefinition
Roatation A rotation is a circular movement of an object around a center of rotation
Revolution The motion of one body around another the motion of the planets in their orbit around the Sun).
Orbit In physics, an orbit is the gravitationally curved path of an object around a point in space, for example the orbit of a planet around the center of a star system, such as the Solar System.
Geocentric geocentric orbit involves any object orbiting the Earth, such as the Moon or artificial satellites.
Heliocentric heliocentric orbit is an orbit around the Sun.
Natural Satalite A natural satellite, moon, or secondary planet is a celestial body that orbits a planet or smaller body
Solar system The Solar System consists of the Sun and its planetary system of eight planets, their moons, and other non-stellar objects.
Astronmy Astronomy is a natural science that deals with the study of celestial objects (such as moons, planets, stars, nebulae, and galaxies);
