inorganic the mineral cannot form materials that were once part of a living thing.

metamorphic rock forms when existing rock is changed by heat and pressure or chemical reactions
sedimentary rock forms when particles of other rocks or remains of plants and animals are cemented together

deposition process by which sediments settles out of wind or water
compaction process that presses sediments together
cementation process in which dissolved minerals crysalize and glue particles of sediment together
clastic rock is a sedimentary rock that forms when rock fragments or particles
organic rock forms were the remains of plants and animals deposited into thick layers
chemical rock forms when minerals that are dissolved in a solution
foliated parallel grains
non foliated non parallel grains
