Conjugated Equine Estrogen (Premarin) Act as estrogen hormone replacement that acts to mature the female reproductive tract.
Conjugated Equine Estrogen (Premarin) blocks bone resorption and reduces LDL levels
Conjugated Equine Estrogen (Premarin): Adverse Effects can cause endometrial and ovarian cancer when on prolonged therapy, increase for breast cancer, can cause embolic events (MI, pulmonary embolism, DVT, stroke)
Conjugated Equine Estrogen (Premarin: Administration Apply transdermal patches to trunk skin (abdomen). teach to watch for menstrual changes and to report abnormal bleeding
Medroxyprogesterone acetate (Provera) Acts in body to maintain environment for fetal grwoth and development
