Milky Way Galaxy Is the galaxy in which we live. It is a spiral shaped galaxy that contains about 200 billion stars, including our Sun.
Asteroid An asteroid is a large rock in outer space. Some can be very large, while others are small as a grain of sand.
Comet A small frozen mass of ice and dust orbiting the Sun.
Terrestrial Relating to land.
Orbit To tavel in a curved path around the Sun or a planet.
Rotation One complete turn on axis.
Satellite A moon that orbits a planet.
Sun A star around which Earth and other planets revolve. It produces heat light and energy.
Gas Giant Any of the second four planets from the Sun, which are made of gas.
