| electric circuit | a complete a pathway that allows electrons to flow. |
| electric current | the amount of charge passing a point in a conductor. |
| electric load | any device that transforms electrical energy into other forms of energy, such as a light bulb, buzzer, heater and motor |

| electric resistance | the ratio of voltage to current |
| electrochemical cells | electrodes in electrolytes that convert chemical energy stored in charges. |
