Political Science Government Ideologies

Liberalism a political orientation that favors social progress by reform and by changing laws rather than by revolution.
Socialism economic and political theory advocating public or common ownership and cooperative management of the means of production and allocation of resources
Conservatism A system that believes in tradition, law, and order, and an economic belief in little or no government interference in the economy
Communism A system where the government controls and plans for every area of economic activity
Fascism A political system where the goals of the nation (militarism & nationalism) are more important than individual goals
