what is the composition of mafic and felsic magmas? mafic- gabbro, biotite, olivine. thinner and moves faster . low silica and is dark. felsic-quartz, feldspar. thicker and moves slow. high silica
how does the cooling rate of magma affect the texture or crystal size? it makes it smaller or larger when the magma cools fast or slower.
