Rotation Earth spinning on its axis
Revolution The earth making a complete circle around the earth
Axis The imaginary line running verticly through the earth
Equator The imaginary line running horizonly around the erth, dividing it in half
Tilt The earth has a tilt of 23.5
Hemisphere Half of the earth
Lunar Cycle The moon cycle in which the moon revovles around the earth
Waxing When the light is on the right side of the moon
Waning When the light is on the left side of the moon
Crescent Moon When a sliver of light is showing on the moon
Solar Eclipse When the moon is between the earth and sun and blocks the earths sunlight
Gibbous Moon When most of the moon is showing but a sliver is in the shadows
Full Moon When the whole moon is completly lit
First Quarter When the right half of the moon is lit
Third (Last) Quarter When the left half of the moon is lit
New Moon When the moon is not visible from earth
Lunar Eclipse When the earth is between the sun and moon
