KDA-COMMUNICATION-OBSERVING WITH YOUR SENSES

METHODS OF OBSERVATIONWHAT TO OBSERVE
LOOKING Some signs of change can be seen in a patient's condition. You can observe skin rash, reddened areas, or swelling.
LISTENING You can hear some signs such as cough or wheezing sounds, when the patient breathes. Also listen to the patient talking for other changes.
TOUCHING You can feel a change in the patient's pulse rate puffiness in the skin, dampness(perspiration).
SMELLING You can smell some signs, such as an odor on a patient's breath.
