Fire Extinguisher A fire extinguisher is a tank that is filled with a chemical mixture used to put out fires
Chemical Change A chemical change is a change that affects the chemical composition of an object. Examples of chemical changes are change in color, temperature change, or solid precipitate produced
Physical Change A physical change is a change that affects the physical structure of an object such as size or shape
Proton A proton is a part of an atom that is located in the nucleus. It has a positive charge and affects the atomic mass of the atom
Neutron A neutron is a part of an atom that affects the atomic mass of the atom. It has a neutral charge and is located in the nucles of an atom
Electron An electron is a part of an atom loacted in the electron shells. They have negative charges
Newton's First Law of Motion Newton's first law of motion states that an object at rest will remain at rest unless an unbalanced force is acted upon it. Also, an object in motion will remain in motion unless an unbalanced force is acted upon it
Newtion's Second Law of Motion Newton's second law of motion states that the accleleration of an object depends on the objects mass and the size of the force applied to it
Newton's Third Law of Motion Newton's Third law of motion states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction
Unbalanced force An unbalanced force is a force that is applied to an object and causes that object to move
Balanced Force A balanced force is a force applied to an object that causes no movement. (forces are equal)
Comet A comet is a celestial body composed of dust and gas that sometimes has a tail
Black Hole An object of space in which nothing, not even light, can escape
Main Sequence Star A main sequence star is a star located on the diagonal band of an HR diagram
Irregular Galaxy An irregular galaxy is a galaxy with no specific shape.
Meteorite A meteorite is a meteor that has reached the Earth's surface
