atmosphere the layer of gases that surrounds
hydrosphere the water part of earths surface.
lithosphere the shell of the earths made up of the crust and the ridged part of the mantle.
crust the top layer above the earth above the mantle.
mantle the middle layer of the earth between the crust andthe core.
core the center part of the earth below the mantle
plate tectonics a theroy stating that the earth is broken into plates that move.
plate a large section of the earths surface made of the crust and the ridgid top part of the mantle.
volcano a mountian built up from hardend lava,rocks,and ash that erupt out of the earth
earthquake a shaking of the earths crust caused by rock slabs moving aginst eachother deep below the earths surface.
