QuestionAnswer
Independent Variable (IV) The one variable that is deliberately changed in the experiment.
Controlled Variables (CV) Factors in the experiment that are the same on purpose and are kept the same. They are controlled.
Dependent Variables (DV) Changes as a result of the Independent Variable. They're outcome depends on the Independent Variables.
Normal Group It is the most "regular" situation. Usually the standard used to compare with the Experimental Group.
Experimental Group It applies to the condition or change (independent variable) being studied.
