Habitat The place where an organism lives.
Living Things that need water, oxygen, sunlight, mating partner etc.
Non- Living Such as; wind, light, and temperature etc.
Population A group of organisms of the same species which all live in the same habitat
Adaptation Survival to their habitats.
Environment Is used to describe all of the conditions in a habitat.
Ecology The study of interactions between organism and their environment.
Ecologist Scientists that study ecology.
Community When two or more groups of organism live together and interact with each other in the same habitat.
Ecosystem The community of living things in a particular habitat.
Interdependent The living things in the ecosystem.
Symbiosis Living together.
Commensalism When two organisms interact where only one of them is benefited, but the host is unaffected.
Mutualism If two organisms interact and both of them are benefited.
Parasitsm When one species lives on or in another species and the other species provides the one that’s living on it with food and shelter; but often gets harmed in return.
Parasite Species that live on or in another species.
Host Species that is being lived on or in by other species.
