BIO ecology vocabulary Ch 3

heterotroph/consumer cannot make their own food, have to eat
detritivore eats dead matter for energy
food chain series of steps in which organisms transger energy by eating and being eaten
food web links all the food chains in an ecosystem together
cellular respiration organisms use oxygen and glucose to produce energy in the form of ATP
