Soluble Insoluble

QuestionAnswer
What is a soluble? A solute that is able to dissolve into a certain solvent.
What is insoluble? A solute that is not able to dissolve into a certain solvent.
What happens when the solute particles attract to the solvent particles? When the solute particles are attracted to the solvent particles, the solute is soluble.
What is a example of soluble? Sugar is soluble in water.
What happens when the solute particles are not attracted to the solvent particles? When solute particles are not attracted to the solvent particles the solute is insoluble.
What is a example of insoluble? Sugar is insoluble in vegetable oil.
