QuestionAnswer
Pistil The female organs of a flower, comprising the stigma, style, and ovary.
Stamen The male fertilizing organ of a flower, typically consisting of a pollen-containing anther and a filament.
Ovary The hollow base of the carpel of a flower, containing one more ovules.
petals Each of the segments of the corolla of a flower, which are modified leaves and are typically colored.
sepals Each of the parts of the calyx of a flower, enclosing the petals and typically green leaf like.
Germination A series of events when a seed begins to grow.
Pollination Process where pollen lands on the stigma tube grows down.
Fertilization When a egg cell and sperm cell joins. (seed)
