Types of Rocks

WordDefinition
Rock Naturally formed solid that is usually made out of 1 or more types of rocks
Sediments Particals deposited by water. Created by wind,rain,or glaciers, comes form exisiting rocks.
Recrysatlzation Occurs when heat and pressure break the bonds that join atoms in minerals. ex: Shale is a sedimentary rock.
Foilation Is an arangement of minerals in flat or wavy parallel bands
