Describe how animals in a temperate deciduous forest adapt to seasonal changes. Some animals hibernate, grow thick fur, and store fat for winter. Some animals migrate south to find warmer temperatures.

Savannas are found in-between which two biomes? Deserts and rainforests.
This biome has a wet season and a dry season. savanna
How do the plants adapt to the harsh conditions of a savanna? Grasses grow in clumps and have deep roots. Some have prickly outsides to prevent being eaten. Some plants shed leaves to conserve moisture.
How do animals adapt to living in a savanna? They travel in herds, and they migrate to find sources of water and food.
This is the DRIEST biome of the four we have studied- only receives between 8-40 inches of rain annually. prairie
