What are the two types of time? Relative and absoulte
What is realtive time? Time relative to another object
What is absolute time? Think total area. 2 +abs(-2) equals 4.
What is the law of super position? The layer on bottom is older than the layer on top
What is the principal of Original horizontality? Sediment layers are deposited horizontally/ the layer have not been disturbed.
What is the principal of cross-cutting relationships? a) A fault is younger than the rock layer it cuts. b) An intrusive rock is younger than the rock it is intruding into.
