| Primary consumer | cosumer that eats a producer to get energy |

| Secondary Consumer | A consumer that eats another consumer for energy |
| Carnivore | Meat-eater |
| Tertiary consumer | A consumer that eats a consumer that already at a consumer |
| Omnivores | Eat plant and animals |
| Scavengers | Consumers that eat other consumers that have already died |
| Food chain | The transfer of energy from sun to producer to primary consumer to secondary consumer to tertiary consumer |
| Food webs | They show the feeding relationshipin an ecosystem |
| Decomposers | Organisms which break down dead organic matter so that the nutrients can be reused by plants |
| Ecosystem | A system in which living things interact with themselves and their-non-living enviroment in such a way that the entire system is perpetuated |
