How does a relay switch work? 1. When electricity flows through circuit 1, the coil of wire becomes an EM. 2. The EM attracts the piece of iron which closes the switch so electricity flows into circuit 2.
How does a reed switch work? When a magnet is placed near the reed switch, the two pieces of iron are attracted together, this closes the switch so electricity flows through the circuit.
