What is a homogeneous mixture? The substances are so evenly distributed that it is difficult to distinguish one substance in the mixture from another.
What are the three types of mixtures that can be classified by the size of their particles? Solutions - Homogeneous mixture w/ small particles. Suspensions - Heterogeneous mixture with intermediate particles Colloids - homogeneous mixture with large particles
What is an atom? An atom is the smallest particle of an element.
