What weather does an occluded front bring? Temperatures vary with this front. It can bring several days of clouds and precipitations followed by clear dry weather.
How does a stationary front form? A warm and cold air mass meet and neither one has the force to move the other
How does an occluded front form? A cold front catches up to a warm front
How does a warm front form? A warm air mass slides up and over a cold air mass
How does a cold front form? A fast moving cold air mass pushes under a warm air mass, forcing the warm air to quickly rise
What is an air mass? A large volume of air with similar characteristics of temperature, air pressure, and humidity.
What is a front? The area where two air masses collide.
