Probable signs (objective) Chadwicks sign - purple discoloration of vagina
Probable signs (objective) Goodell's sign - by 2nd missed period, a valuable sign, softening of the cervix
Probable signs (objective) Hegar's sign - by 6th wk - one of the most valuable sign of early preg. - lower uterine segement becomes very soft
Probably signs (objective) Braxton Hicks
Probably signs (objective) Pigmentation of the skin
Probable signs (objective) Ballotment - can palpate a pregnant uterus with an internal exam
Probable signs (objective) Pregnancy test - based on presence of HCG
