Coefficients Shows how many molecules are present.
Products Substance that is formed as the result of a chemical reaction.
Reactants A substance that takes part in and undergoes a change during a chemical reaction.
Chemical Reaction Chemical change which forms new substances.
Chemical Equation Symbolic representation of a chemical reaction.
Compound Molecule Molecule composed of different elements.
Element (Diatomic) Molecule A molecule that has only one type of element in it. Diamtoic is when there's only two elements.
Chemical Formula An expression which states the number and type of atoms present in a molecule of a substance.
Chemical Change Produces a new substance.
Physical Change Does not produce a new chemical substance. Usually changes the form of matter.
Law of Conservation of Mass In a chemical reaction, the mass of the produ cts equal the mass of the reactants.
Element Substances that can't be broken down into simpler substances.
