What is a anemometer? it's a weather instrument used to determine wind speed
what is qualitative? using your senses like it smells like grass.
What is quantitative? using numbers like how much it weighs.
What is a compass used for? it's a tool that is used to tell the cardinal directions of North, South, East, West.
What dose prism do? it breaks light into the colors of the rainbow.
What dose a mirror do? it reflects light toward a given direction (plane/flat).
What is a fair test? a test where only one factor is changed at a time.
What is a variable? a factor that can change the results of an experiment.
What is a manipulated variable? the one factor that is changed.
What is a responding variable? result, or response to , the changing variable
What is a observation? a qualitative and quantitative information gained by describing properties
What is a prediction? an inference made by what will happen in the future
What is an explanation of an observation based on prior experiences or facts? inference
What are some characteristics of an anemometer? measures wind speed in miles per hour (mph), should be vertical and needs to spin without obstruction
