PoP Email A type of email service where message are stored on an email server and delivered directly to user's computers via email client software. Stands for Post Office Protocol, used to retrieve email messages from the server.

Vacation Mode When enabled, puts Gmail account on hold while the user is on vacation.
Conversation Group of related email messages
Signature Personalized text that appears at the bottom of an email message.
Attachment Executable Program File Computer file that contains a software program.
Attachment File attached to a normal text email message.
CC Carbon copy sends a message to additional recipients.
BCC Blind carbon copy sends message to additional recipients without displaying their addresses.
Inbox Main storage area for new incoming email messages.
Label Keyword or tag that describes an email message.
Priority Inbox Special Gmail inbox that organizes messages in order of importance.
Snippet Short excerpt from an email message.
Star Flagging an important email message.
Archive Means of storing older or inactive email messages.
Filter means of applying one or more actions to incoming mail.
Keyword Word included as part of a search queue.
Contact Person with whom you send email messages
Contact group Group of contacts, typically used to send email mailing lists.
Spam Unsolicited commercial email.
Computer Virus malicious computer program capable of reproducing itself and causing harm to files or programs on a computer system.
