what is a line segment? part of a line that has 2 end points
what is a ray? a part of a line that has one end point and keeps going i one direction forever.
what are parallel lines? they never cross and stay the same distance apart
what are intersecting lines? pass though the same point.
what are perpendicular lines? intersecting lines that form a square.
what is a acute angles? has a measure between o and 90.
what is a right angle? has a measure of 90 .
what is a obtuse angle? has a measure greater than 90.
what is a straight angle? has a measure of 180.
what is a polygon? closed plane figure made up of line segments
what is a regular polygon? sides of equal length and angles of equal measure.
what is a equilateral triangle? all sides are the same length.
what is a isosceles triangle? 2 sides are the same lenth
what is a scalene triangle? no sides are the same length.
what is a right triangle? one angle is a right angle.
what is a acute triangle? all three angles are acute
what is a obtuse triangle? one angle is obtuse.
what is a parallelogram? both pairs of opposite are parallel to each other
what is a trapezoid? only one pair of parallel sides.
what is a rectangle? a parallelogram with 4 right angles
what is a rhombus? a parallelogram with all sides the same length.
what is a sguare? a rectangle with all sides the same length.
