lymphocyte | A type of white blood cell surrounded in cytoplasm |
T cell | Identifys a pathogen and distinguishes one kind of pathogen from another |
allergy | A disorder in which the immune system is very sensitive to a foriegn substance |
Vaccine | A substance that contains pathogens that have been weakened to trigger the immune system |
B cell | A lymphocyte that produces a chemical to destroy a specific kind of pathogens |
phagocyte | White blood cells that destroy pathogens by engulfing them and breaking them down |
